ReloadFlow (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension designed to automatically refresh webpages and monitor pages for user-specified changes.

We respect your privacy. ReloadFlow is designed to perform its core functions locally in your browser and does not require an account, analytics service, advertising SDK, cloud backend, or remote code.

1. Information ReloadFlow Processes

To provide auto-refresh and page-monitoring functionality, ReloadFlow may process limited information associated with webpages where you choose to activate the Extension.

Website Content

ReloadFlow may locally process visible webpage content when you use page-monitoring features. This may include:

• Text selected by the user

ReloadFlow may locally process the URL or website origin of pages where you activate the Extension. This is used to associate refresh jobs with the correct tab and, when enabled, remember settings for a particular website.

ReloadFlow does not build, maintain, transmit, or sell a general history of the websites you visit.

User Activity

ReloadFlow may locally process limited activity-related information necessary for its features, including:

• Your current scroll position so it can be restored after an automatic refresh
• Whether a text input, textarea, or editable field is currently active when the “Pause while typing” feature is enabled
• The state of a ReloadFlow refresh or monitoring task

ReloadFlow does not record the contents of your keystrokes, passwords, authentication credentials, or form submissions.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

ReloadFlow is not designed to collect or transmit:

• Names, email addresses, postal addresses, or other personally identifiable information
• Passwords, authentication credentials, PINs, or security answers
• Financial or payment information
• Health or medical information
• Personal emails, messages, or chat conversations
• GPS location or precise physical location

3. Local Storage

ReloadFlow uses Chrome's local and session storage features to store information required for the Extension to work. This may include:

• Refresh interval settings
• Fixed or random refresh preferences
• Page-monitoring rules
• Notification and highlighting preferences
• Refresh counters and active task state
• Optional per-website settings
• Temporary tab-specific information

These settings remain within your browser and are not sent to ReloadFlow servers.

ReloadFlow does not operate a cloud backend for its refresh or page-monitoring features. Information processed by the Extension for these features is handled locally in your browser.

5. Browser Permissions

ReloadFlow requests only the Chrome permissions needed to provide its auto-refresh and page-monitoring functionality.

• activeTab: Provides temporary access to the current webpage after you explicitly interact with ReloadFlow.
• scripting: Allows ReloadFlow to run its locally packaged refresh timers, monitoring logic, scroll restoration, highlighting, typing detection, and optional countdown interface on the active page.
• storage: Stores Extension settings, website-specific preferences, and temporary refresh task state.
• contextMenus: Provides right-click shortcuts for starting, pausing, resuming, stopping, and configuring refresh or monitoring tasks.
• notifications: Allows ReloadFlow to notify you when a monitoring condition you configured has been matched.
• alarms: Allows reliable scheduling of longer refresh intervals while using Chrome's Manifest V3 service worker architecture.

ReloadFlow intentionally does not request broad access to all websites using the <all_urls> host permission.

6. Remote Code

ReloadFlow does not use remote code. All JavaScript required to operate the Extension is included within the Extension package distributed through the Chrome Web Store.

ReloadFlow does not download, import, evaluate, or execute remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly.

7. Notifications

If you enable page monitoring, ReloadFlow may display a browser notification when a condition you configured is detected, such as specified text appearing or disappearing.

Notification processing is performed as part of the Extension's local functionality.

8. External Links

The ReloadFlow interface includes a “Powered by chatgpt.org.uk” link. ReloadFlow does not automatically contact or load content from that website.

The website is opened only when you explicitly click the link. Once you leave the Extension and visit an external website, that website's own privacy policy applies.

9. Data Sharing and Sale

ReloadFlow does not sell user data.

ReloadFlow does not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the Extension's single purpose of automatically refreshing webpages and monitoring them for user-specified changes.

ReloadFlow does not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

10. Security

ReloadFlow is designed to minimize data exposure by processing refresh and monitoring information locally whenever possible and by avoiding unnecessary broad website permissions.

No method of software operation can guarantee absolute security, but ReloadFlow is designed to request only the permissions required for its stated functionality.

This Privacy Policy may be updated if ReloadFlow's functionality, permissions, or data-handling practices change.
